French Truck Driving Licence C-CE Practice Map

INFORMATION

Hello !

This map was initially a personal project to help myself for the Truck’s Driving Licence Exams. I noticed that this kind of map didn't really exist on ETS2, so I created it myself. I'm not a modder, so it was tedious, but I did it !

Rather than keep it for myself, it might as well be useful to others, as ETS2 is a very realistic simulator, so it's obviously possible to practice efficiently on it.

I hope this will motivate other modders (or SCS ?) to make maps like this in another countries. ETS2 has given me a vocation for trucker job. This game is a wonderful medium for any future trucker.

NO DLC REQUIRED ! My map is made to be as accessible as possible

INSTALLATION

Download the map and drop the .scs file in your mod folder (Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod)

1. Create a brand new profile,

2. Before you start, enable the mod in mod manager at the top left, and choose “Training.mbd” in map selection.

3. Start with the new profile and do your first delivery, I highly recommend using a profile editor or any other methods to get xp and money boost from your first mission.

4. Buy your first truck

5. Enjoy !

NOTE

I chose Renault as main truck dealer but if you need or want other truck brand you can teleport your truck behind the big building (marked on map) and buy any brand. I was not going to create new roads with new cities just for that, so I put them like this

If you don't know how to do that :

Open config.cfg file at Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2

Find the lines :

uset g_developer "0"

uset g_console "0"

Change de values from "0" to "1"

Once in game press 0 key on your keyboard (not the numpad) to enable Freecam. You can move by pressing the keys 8 4 5 6 on the Numpad and Ctrl+F9 to teleport your truck where the freecam is.

If you want to change the time type the command "g_set_time 12" or the hour you want by using the console with the key "²"

Also I recommend to disable fatigue simulation in the game settings

COMPATIBILITIES

No need to worry about it, my map is highly compatible. If it becomes incompatible for any reason, I'll make it compatible again.
