Room Between My Teeth is an album about the space between what we feel and what we do with it.

Moving through Alternative R&B, indie rock, soul and atmospheric guitar music, the record follows two people trying to build a kind of love they were never shown how to have. They arrive carrying old reflexes with them—fear of abandonment, suspicion, silence, anger, the need to be right—and slowly discover that recognizing those patterns doesn't make them disappear.

Across the album, arguments become battlegrounds between instinct and intention. Silence can mean rejection or mercy. Staying can be devotion or fear. An apology can be sincere and still not be enough. And sometimes the person standing in front of us has to compete with the version of them we've already invented in our heads.

At the center of the record is a simple idea: there can be a little room between the wound and the response.

Room to listen before answering.

Room to ask instead of assume.

Room to be wrong.

Room to leave without betrayal.

Room to stay without obligation.

Musically, Room Between My Teeth lives in that same tension. Close-mic baritone vocals, felt piano, fingerpicked guitar and intimate room noise sit against warm synth bass, tight drums, distorted guitars, stacked voices and sudden walls of sound. Songs can begin inches from the listener's ear and end filling the room.

The record doesn't tell the story of someone becoming healed, fearless or perfect. It's about something smaller and harder: learning to feel fear without automatically obeying it.

Nobody taught them how to stay.

So they begin learning—one silence, one argument, one morning at a time.
