Gokart Engines Begone
Everyone knows what I'm talking about; the irritating gokart engine in ATS and ETS2 that's way louder than every other AI traffic engine. It sounds fake and horrible, and the only way to get rid of it was to install Sound Fixes.
That's until now. Gokart Engines Begone simply removes these files using scs file edits. I went through the game's AI traffic files and found every vehicle that uses the culprit, "/sound/traffic/car_normal_2.soundref", and changed it to something else. The result is a tidy little 20 kb file that should have no impact on performance, yet provides a significant quality of life benefit to the player.
