Slovakia Map (Standalone Map Mod for ETS2)
Slovakia Map is a standalone map mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2 focused on a detailed 1:5 scale representation of Slovakia and selected neighboring regions. The project has been in active development since 2013 and is continuously updated to support the latest ETS2 versions.
The map features realistic road layouts, cities, villages, landmarks, custom traffic signs, and region-specific assets. Each update brings improvements to terrain, vegetation, road connections, AI behavior, and overall visual quality.
The mod works as a separate map module and does not require any DLC. For enhanced gameplay experience, the Special Transport DLC is recommended but not required.

Requirements:
- Euro Truck Simulator 2
- No DLC required, optional Special Transport DLC
Installation:
1. Download and extract the archive (WinRAR or 7-Zip)
2. Run "slovakia_setup.exe" and follow the instructions*
3. Start the game and play on the included "Slovakia_map" profile
⚠️ IMPORTANT — using your own profile:
The map module can only be chosen when a profile is CREATED. It cannot be
changed on an existing profile. Create a NEW profile and select "slovak.mbd"
instead of "europe.mbd" on the profile creation screen.
*Mac, Linux and mod manager users: the archive also contains a "Classic"
folder with .scs files for manual installation.
Copy them into Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod, then create a new profile with the slovak.mbd module as described above.
